چکیده
A standalone 100 kV field emission gun (FEG) has been developed that can be installed and operated on a standard transmission electron microscopy optical column or custom designed high voltage columns. The FEG comprises thermally assisted cathode an asymmetric electrostatic lens operate from 20 to in ultrahigh vacuum (UHV) chamber. In its current configuration, the spherical chromatic aberration coefficients (Cs Cc, respectively) range of Cs = 607–670 mm Cc 60–87 at keV over working distances 50–206 exit plane unit. dedicated supply unit with ripples less than 1 ppm also developed. is transported under UHV does not require use SF6 gas during operation, as customary TEMs. Preliminary results operating Philips Tecnai 12 JEOL JEM-1400HR TEM show resolution gold (111) crystal planes 0.235 nm (200) 0.202 nm.

متن کاملHigh resolution ultrastructural investigation of insect sensory organs using field emission scanning electron microscopy
Field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) is an extremely useful viewing technique for examining ultrastructural features pertaining to insect sensory organs (sensilla) at high magnifications. In comparison to conventional scanning electron microscopy (SEM), FESEM operates superiorly at lower accelerating voltages, offering greater resolution capabilities at higher magnifications and ...
متن کاملHigh-resolution transmission electron microscopy
High-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) has been widely and effectively used for analyzing crystal structures and lattice imperfections in various kinds of advanced materials on an atomic scale. This is especially the case for high Tc superconductors (HTSCs). The most characteristic feature in crystal structures of HTSCs is that there is a common structural element, a CuO2 plan...
متن کاملCryo field emission scanning electron microscopy.
Low-temperature scanning electron microscopy (cryoSEM) was introduced in the early 1970s, shortly after the appearance of the first commercial scanning electron microscopes. This technique has been utilized widely in plant biology, the food and paper industry, X-ray analytical studies, and material sciences (8). Major advantages of cryoSEM include being able to avoid deleterious changes associa...
